Jaime Waydo is a product and technology executive with over 20 years of experience leading across engineering, technology, product, operations (overseas & domestic), regulatory and safety functions. She has served a wide group of industry leading companies including Alphabet, Apple, Translucent Medical, Hansen Medical and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Jaime brings her product and technology skills combined with her operational acumen to support CEOs and boards in transitioning technology into shipping at scale, driving efficiencies in the organization, and thinking through product and technology trades.
Jaime has seen and led teams and products across the full scale of tech – from startup to Fortune 5 companies. She has been a founding member of two startups, Translucent Medical (acquired by Auris Health), and Cavnue, where she helped raise a $130M A-Round. She’s also led 1000+ person teams at large tech giants like Apple and Google. She’s led the transition from early concept prototypes, to safety critical and regulated products shipping at world wide scale.
Jaime has worked in health care, space, automotive, self driving, infrastructure, and consumer electronics. She’s done disposables, services, robotics, sensors, vehicles, and complex software products. She’s passionate about products that change lives at a scale that can impact everyone.
Jaime’s board experience includes both non-profit and for-profit boards. She’s served as the scholarship chair and board director for the Montana Space Grant Consortium that focuses on strengthening education in space related fields. She’s also served as an executive director for Cavnue, and co-chair of the communications committee and director for the California Transportation Foundation.
Jaime grew up in Montana on a potato farm. She now lives in the bay area with her husband, two boys, and a dog. She loves skiing, art, hiking, paddle boarding, and all things enjoying the great California outdoors.
